Percival Norman Shiraz

Percival Norman Shiraz

Our Great Grandfather Percival was an entrepreneur of his time. He started the first family winery during the Depression, which along with some of his vineyards, still stands proudly today. A well-known writer and poet, his hardworking nature and perseverance continue to inspire us. Cheers Percy, this one’s for you.

Tasting Notes

Deep ruby red with a bright purple hue. Perfumed aromas of dark chocolate, fresh raspberries, sweet spices and cherry ripe. Rich raspberry and chocolate flavours carry through to the palate. Vanilla bean and cinnamon spice hit the mid-palate with well-integrated cedar oak characters shining through. Chalky tannins are in balance and drive the elegant long finish.

A classically big and bold Barossan Shiraz.

Sourced from long-term growers across the western, central and southern Barossa. Multiple vineyards provide parcels of their most premium fruit, specially chosen to make the best representation of this variety for rich bold Barossan Shiraz.
