The Brigadier Cabernet Sauvignon
2019
The Brigadier Cabernet Sauvignon
As a passionate amateur war historian, our Father often likes to share his war knowledge. His passion stemmed from our forebears who fought for our country, a fact that has instilled in us a sense of pride. That sense of pride is also felt for our Father’s winemaking career. As a leader discovering the microclimate best suited to Barossan Cabernet Sauvignon, we felt there was no better name to represent our father.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of Blackberry, dark chocolate, leather and sweet toffee caramel. Background aromas of eucalypt leaf and cedar. Super complex aromas. The palate is a full rich mouthful of red wine, with loads of coffee/mocha characters, firm cabernet tannins and a well-balanced finish. a classic “best of both worlds” blend of Eden Valley and Barossa Valley Cabernet.
Style
True cool climate Cabernet Sauvignon; ripe dark fruits and fine tannins.
Region
Sourced from our family’s Corryton Burge vineyard in the Eden Valley where the cool microclimate is ideal for growing premium Cabernet Sauvignon.
